It was a bit difficult returning to our daily routine at home. It was a very memorably enjoyable trip. It was great FUN despite the packed schedule. I did choose and fashion the itinerary with you.


We can't thank you enough and all the supporting staff of companies involved with our trip. They all exhibited friendly and professional attention to our needs. The drivers and guides were all there on time at every juncture. It was seamless. The baggage handling and transfers were excellent. The hotel front desk were mostly very good. One glitch was in Arequipa where one of the Levinsons didn’t seem to have his reservation confirmed or can not be found. The guide did take care of it. The transfer guide at the Ollantaytambo train station was slightly late and appeared unprepared. We did get on the right coach.

The Machu Picchu guide was good. He presented a more cultural perspective rather than a more structural tour of the site. He was not as patient as the woman who guided us at Ollantaytambo.

The pick up/ greeting guide in Lima was exceptional. She had initiative and excellent problem solving skills. She helped us navigate our check-in for our departure for Arequipa as we were running late. We had incorrectly thought our flight was later.

The hotels were mostly very good with Aranwa Resorts in Sacred Valley being 5* and Puno 3*. Colca Lodge was superb as well . Would return there and Aranwa definitely . The stay at the family house was more than we expected. They had flushable toilets! The family was most gracious and generous and prepared excellent meals.

The included meals were mostly very good. The buffet lunch in Sacred Valley tour was very good and notable. Recommended restaurants were pretty accurate. Eating at Rafeals is worth returning to Lima. Same goes for Chichas in Arequipa.

Overall, I would rate our trip 4.5* for the above reasons. We definitely recommend you and company wholeheartedly. We hope to work with you again for our future tours in South America!
